Icing on the Break
Icing on the Break is the Hip-Hop Collective's winter bboy jam. A 2 v 2 battle that is free to the public and all competitors.
This year, Icing will be introducing its newest tradition, the Icing on the Break trophy. The winning duo will have their names engraved on the trophy along with all past winners. It's the Collective's way of recognizing the lineage of Flavor Florida.

Nightmare on Beat Street II
Simply put, Nightmare is Gainesville's first cypher jam.
The original Nightmare was a 3 vs 3 costume battle that started in 2008 and it's been a four year hiatus since then. Like the original, Nightmare II is all about having fun so we decided on a format change to reflect that intent.
With DJ Felix providing a quality vibe, cyphers ran right up to the end of the event with representation from all over Florida from Tallahassee to as far down as Miami. The night finished off with 1 on 1 costume battles for laughs and respect. Congrats to N'ergi and Spindian for taking the Cypher King and costume battle!
With so much community support and a lot of positive feedback, we hope that Nightmare continues next year and becomes a new tradition! Thanks to everyone who came out!
